STEVE Fallon believes a rigorous pre-season training routine will turn new recruit Damian Reeves into a lethal predator.
The Histon boss put the striker through his paces this week for the first time since his arrival from Farsley Celtic last month.
And the manager, whose team begin their second season in the Blue Square Premier with a home clash against Torquay on August 9, felt Reeves was well off the pace.
But he said the forward, who netted 15 goals in all competitions for his former employers last term, will quickly learn what is expected of him and become even more deadly in the penalty area.
Fallon said: "Damian's had his first training session, and it was actually quite pleasing to see he was way off the level of fitness of our players.
"He knows he's got a long way to go and I think he was surprised at the level of work the players put in.
"But if he was a good player in the Blue Square Premier at that level of fitness last season, then he'll be even better when we can get him fit." ;D
