The Supporters' Club after a meeting with the Guiseley AFC Chairman Phil Rogerson have agreed to help raise funds for an Electronic Scoreboard. All fund raising activities will now directly be driven by this fund which will be called "The Scoreboard Appeal"With the exciting development of Nethermoor Park imminent this was something the committee agreed was a great target to raise funds for. As a Supporters' Club we can only be successful with this appeal if our members and other supporters actively take part in activities the Supporters' Club put forward starting with a Race Night on the Saturday 14th November and the Christmas Draw. All eight races have already been sponsored, however horses will be on sale from this Saturday (17/10/15) and a priced at just £3 a horse. Please see a committee member at the Supporters' Club desk before the game or in the Club House afterwards. The first race will take place at approximately 19:30, however the bar will remain open after the game. Food will also be available on the night. If you require anymore information please see a committee member or contact us We are also conducting a survey online to see which type of fundraising events you would like us to put on for you. Please spare a moment to take part in the survey: www.surveymonkey.com/r/8RJS2XX This is a great opportunity for us to do our bit regarding the redevelopment of Nethermoor and we hope you will join in with the fundraising Thank you, The committee Guiseley AFC Supporters' Club www.guiseleyafcsupportersclub.co.uk AB

Great stuff. Is there any plans for the supporters team to play again? It was good fun and I would be happy to pay to play with proceeds going to the fund.

Today the Supporters' Club made its first total public, this is a fantastic £832 towards the £5000 target, this is money raised by you, every time you buy a Golden Goal, or have a go on the Domino card, travel with the SC, attend events put on by the SC you are directly contributing to the Scoreboard Appeal, as Chairman of the SC and on behalf of the Committee I would like to say a massive well done to you all and let's get that target figure smashed

With the scoreboard appeal any idea what the actual scoreboard will look like. will it just display the score the minutes left or will it be a jazzy one which will display advertisements for local business. Any plans where it will be displayed and ready or we looking at next season for it to be in action

The one that we are looking to purchase will just display the minutes and the score. It will be in place whenever the ground has been developed. AB
