* SCOREBOARD STATEMENT *
As you are Aware the SC Scoreboard Appeal has been fully backed by you, for that the SC truly Thank you, over the last weeks there has been some developments and I want to share these with you
At a recent meeting between the SC and Guiseley AFC Chairman Phil Rogerson it was decided the SC would take control of fully funding, sourcing and installing the Scoreboard.
Today I met a representative from a scoreboard supplier and we discussed the type, location and price this is somewhere in the region of 10K to 11K. On the back of this we would like to announce a very large donation has been received by the SC from a local supporter who wishes to remain anonymous
We will still be short of the full total needed to pay for the Scoreboard outright and have decided to have a 50\50 draw, drawn after the Torquay game on the 30th April, the more people have a go the bigger the prize, your support has been amazing so far, just one last push and we can have the Scoreboard only dreamed of at the start of the Appeal
A new total will be announced shortly
Thank you Mick Glossop Chairman of GAFC Supporters Club

After a very generous donation of £5000 from an anonymous supporter, the latest total is £9392! The Scoreboard is now going to be fully funded and sourced by us meaning we need to raise up to £11000. We would like to thank you for your support with the appeal but there is just one last push involving a 50/50 draw with 50% going to the appeal and the other 50% to the winner, tickets will be on sale at our three remaining home games. The Supporters Club have done a brilliant job with the appeal,can I just ask that if there is any money left over that they would consider upgrading the PA system to the main stand.Us "old uns" can't hear any of the announcements, be it the teams or more importantly the winner of the Golden Goal or the raffle.

We are delighted to announce that we have now purchased the scoreboard and it will be installed at Nethermoor in the next couple of months, here is a sneak peak of what it will look like, a big thank you to everyone who has donated to the appeal to make all this possible. Here is a sneak peak of what the scoreboard will look like behind the goal at the Railway End of the ground. AB

Thanks for that Michael it will be very useful,but I guess that we will just have to wait and learn new faces from the team sheet. Nevertheless the PA announcements are inaudible!!
