THIS MAY AFFECT YOU - Farnell Land Rover - Major Site Changes
Please make your voice heard before it is too late. Comments/objections must be made no later than Friday 20th May 2016.
Farnell has submitted a planning application for substantial redevelopment to the Guiseley Land Rover site (Bradford Road). For full details view the Leeds City Council Public Access website and use reference 16/02176/FU.
No consultation has been made with residents and the application covertly ignores residents and the conservation area.
Farnell proposes to:
1. lncrease the building height to accommodate two floors, with a new eaves height of 9m.
2. Replace the building exterior with a metal clad dark grey industrial unit design.
3. Remove mature trees and landscaping, despite this being a condition of the previous planning consent.
4. lncrease service visits.
5. lncrease number of cars displayed.
6. No consideration has been given to:
a. Increased traffic
b. Staff parking
c. Current issues with roadside unloading transporters
The plans are totally inappropriate for a residential area and will significantly reduce visual amenity and public safety.
We urge you to object or comment using one of the following methods:
1. By letter - a digital template suitable for email can be obtained from markevans@onlymyemail.com.
2. By e-mail to planning@leeds.gov.uk quoting 16/02176/FU
3. By internet www.publicaccess.leeds.gov.uk Search for 16/02176/FU or 'White Cross Garage'.
Please join other local residents in making your voice heard.
Thank you on behalf of Bradford Road residents.
