Lost 5-1 with a team including a number of triallists. Were 4-1 down at half-time but changes at the break saw the second-half level out. Vinnie has around 47 players wanting a go with the Reserves so there is some sifting to do! Brighouse were a well-organised outfit and it was a pleasant evening but for the result but we can't read too much into that. We have four or five other games to tune up in before Reserves season starts on August 20 at Pontefract Collieries. In a few years when they have developed this site fully Brighouse will have a great set up and they were a really decent set of people.
Team: Scott Reid; Chris Austin, Jamie Cairns, Sam Jacomb, Kurt Noble; Callum White, Joe Hendrie, John Douglas, Chris Davey; Aaron Hollindrake, Rob Bradley. Subs (all used) Liam Robinson, Luke Williamson, Tom Higman, Duncan Welsh, James Hampson. Scorer - Chris Davey With lots more players to look at Vinnie and Stu will have their work cut out but all will be seen and sifted!

Good luck to Aaron Hollindrake as he embarks on his Guiseley career - Steeton's loss is your gain - hopefully we can get the friendly game sorted for the 6th August as discussed - was a cracker last season.
