HT Hem 0 G 0 FT Hem 1 G 0 Poor game for Guiseley who struggled against a physical Hemsworth side that put 10 men behind the ball. However Guiseley ran out of ideas on how to break this down and had very few clear chances. Hemsworth had probably 1 or 2 all game. The Hemsworth goal came from a goalkeeping error by Skiba. R Guiseley X1 Ho Ho Ho ho Ho ho big time!

Team was Skiba,Hopkins,Bartle,Pugh,Ellis,Crossley,Callery,Dunne,Brown,Muller,Tiani.Subs were Camfield,Crooks,Burton,Merris,Lloyd,Cotterill,Whitehouse,Husband..Whilst the result and performance were disappointing, last nights match gave us a chance to change things around and look at 2 or 3 a little more closely. The 2 fullbacks that started are trialists and a decision will be made on them in the next couple of days. All in all a worthwhile excersise, more game time under peoples belts and a reality check after a good performance against BCFC.1 positive from the game was that Ryan and Cotty got 45 mins and both came through unscathed and both will now take part in the upcoming games.Full credit to Hemsworth, they played very well and if they can perform like that on a regular basis i think they will do well in their respective league. They were also very good hosts and were extremely pleased that we had sent a strong squad across.

Cheers, Wayne.
Has anybody else noticed something interesting about our pre-season players?
Yorath, Hopkins, Pugh, Ellis, Burton, Lloyd, Walters, Morgan, Merris...
Are we trying to construct a team of third-generation Welshmen?

Guiseley X1 Ho Ho Ho ho Ho ho big time! Now you're starting to annoy us... Hey come on, when Farsley spent last season getting comprehensively stuffed and ignominiously relegated, who amongst us didn't enjoy a little titter or two? It's only fair that bluesquare should be allowed to laugh himself incontinent when we lose a pre-season practice match!

Nothing like a good kick up the pre-season pants to get the motions moving. Get things right before a ball kicked in anger and things should flow nicely without too many trickles. "All is well that ends well".

The two trialist full backs did well, Hopkins (i assume that he was the right back) in particular. Crossley looked good and combined well with Ellis in the first half. Nice set up at Hemsworth and £2 a pint - just some flood lights to find! Love the disco hut by the way! R

Bluesquare, its seems so sad that you seem to get great pleasure whenever a single result goes against us.....Why is that? so, so, sad... Wayne explained what we were trying to do !! Yet you just try to take the p*ss all the time ..........I speak on behalf all genuine GAFC supporters stay off our forum unless you have anything nice to say about us , just worry about Fartley and let us worry about our team..........Bluesquare ,your not PTF or RUSTY are you? At least Theprisoner (Farsley supporter) speaks sense,( well most of the times ) not bullsh*t like YOU.........
