Steady on PTFE, surely even you won't try to make fun of Britain's No. 1 Beauty Spot and leisure activity centre...

The only tourist attraction that features it's own airport, 150 seater fish restaurant, a three pubs. an Indian takeaway, a bread shop c/w their own home made sandwiches and a fully equipped Morrison's supermarket...oh, and a branch of Blockbusters, too ('give us a "p" please, Bob...')...

Why don't people just say what they think instead of sitting on the fence like Adiew did?

With tonights game already off and who knows what Saturday will bring weather wise does that mean the offer of vouchers for reduced entry to arrowgate game will be withdrawn?

We should start playing at Fives Soccer Centre (formerly Ferrini) - that way, we can 99% guarantee we'll be playing a match every week!

Actually, I'm quite well in with the person who handles the publicity for Yeadon Tarn. I'll pass on yeadoner's kind remarks and adiew's idea for a snappy slogan.

I've got loads. I spend a lot of time thinking up slogans, and here are just a few:
1. "Yeadon Tarn - for that special day out you've always dreamed of..."
2. "Yeadon Tarn - feed the ducks watch the planes, have a nice chat with some old ladies..."
3. "Yeadon Tarn - the big pond by Murgatroyd's.."
4. "Yeadon Tarn - because it's there..."
5. "Yeadon Tarn - very nice since they did all that work on it last year..."
6. "Yeadon Tarn - visible from the Moon..."
7. "Yeadon Tarn - we put the Y in anywhere else.." (as in Y "go" anywhere else...Very subtle, that one...).
8. "Yeadon Tarn - "Ayez plaisir à alimenter les canards!" (French for "Enjoy feeding the Ducks!"...For a 'Euro "feel").
9. "Yeadon Tarn - French Out!" (For political balance).
10. "Yeadon Tarn - Hop it, there's no frogs here! Don't bother looking!" (To further deter any of our European guests)
Anyway, hope you like 'em chaps. Let me know if you need any more...
