In my opinion some code of conduct should be thrashed out for away supporters and I would like to see a meeting of all supporters to be chaired by an official of the club. Things can't go on as they are it's taking all the enjoyment out of supporting the team particularly at away games. All this foul mouthed abuse of the opposition team and their supporters has to stop and anyone so obviously under the influence of drink as one person was yesterday should not be allowed into the ground either at home or away. Most people enjoy a social drink but for it all to escalate the way it did is inexcusable and must end now. I don't want to spoil anyone's enjoyment but there is a limit. Come on for the sake of our great club and it's reputation.

I agree the behaviour of a couple of individuals at Braintree was nothing short of disgusting. I felt ashamed to be a Guiseley fan.

Name and shame them. If they were that bad.

I don't believe this forum is the place for this discussion to continue to take place. The Supporters Club Committee ( who we elected to represent us ) and the Management of the Club should discuss the way forward and consult the membership on their recommendations. Any punitive measures should be dealt with by the Club. Not in an open forum.

Any punitive measures should be dealt with by the Club. Not in an open forum. Disagree... the individuals concerned should have thought about their behaviour in a public place in the first place. So why shouldn't it be discussed on here? If people witnessed what happened and wish to talk about it then that's up to them.

I'd like to place on record that it didn't involve any of the 'rowdy' lot that travel seperately from the SC coach. A lot of people will jump to conclusions and point fingers. It wasn't us lot or any of the GU5's.

Does it matter who it was it didn't look good on the Guiseley fans.

Not having been at the game makes it difficult to comment, but as long as things remain civil I don't see a problem with discussing things here.
There is a question facing us as a growing club - are we still a community of fans or are we heading towards individual or small groups of customers? If we want to be the former then maybe we're going to have to figure some of these issues out amongst ourselves?

I feel let down because after last season against Braintree things could have gone seriously wrong but we built bridges at Nethermoor. So much so that people were coming over to us in their clubhouse shaking hands and talking to us. Even after half time one of the Braintree lads called me over to sort harry out. I told the steward in yellow to throw him out. Their actions have soured our relationship with Braintree again.
This was sent to me by a fan that goes to all away games. And I agree.

Does it matter who it was it didn't look good on the Guiseley fans. It does, if these people are members of the SC heirarchy. I for one, got a letter for my actions last season. Compared to what happened yesterday, I was like Andy Pandy

I was at the game and the actions of some fans were wrong. This doesn't exscuse the actions of the steward in the orange hi-viz jacket who went totally over the top.
