Agree with KGW Terrific performance on Sunday and a match saving performance from their colossus of a goalkeeper All could have won MoM which is exactly what you want. Particularly impressed with Fondop and Holden whilst Ash Palmer clearly enjoys and sets the mark in his role as Captain We definitely have a chance next Tuesday

Particularly impressed with Fondop and Holden whilst Ash Palmer clearly enjoys and sets the mark in his role as Captain We definitely have a chance next Tuesday Yes, Ash Palmer has been a minor revelation. A friend of mine who came for the first time described him as 'composed on the ball', not an accusation Ash will often have faced I suspect. Holden's form will make it difficult for either Williams or Lowe to displace him, especially as he has the long throw in his armoury. Really not sure about the replay. For brief periods I thought Accie looked capable of cutting us open with incisive passing, especially first 15, but we kept riding it and imposing our own game. More than ever, I think first goal will be vital.

I would be amazed if the replay was all ticket. I saw Portsmouth play there a few years ago, they took around 1000, and it was pay on the gate. However I was surprised when the game at Guiseley was made all ticket, so what do I know.
i believe I saw a 4pm departure on a sc tweet.

Is there any chance the match will be televised? I am away in the wilds of the Lakes with uncertain internet connection. Alternatively, could someone write the score on a ball and get Holden to do a long throw to Caldbeck in the Lakes where I will bring it under control rather than flick it on.

He's practising that one for when we're a goal up going into stoppage time.

Disappointing though not wholly surprising that BT have gone for the obvious choice in Tranmere-Peterborough, and choose to follow the Billericay cult. I don't know who makes choices at that place but they want handing a 'Beginners Guide to Football' because they don't know much about the game. We're not fashionable enough, nor likely enough to be on telly but to not even choose the Woking game with their cup history is really surprising. And then to announce two southern games over Christmas is proof that BT really do not give two hoots (not the word I would use in real life) about non league football, they just want football coverage on the cheap. You know who I think would do good coverage of non league? Really give it time and presenters who care? Channel 4. Imagine, we'd have James Richardson in Morrisons cafe, translating the headlines in the Wharfedale Observer. It'd be brilliant.

Paul cox is right - if [TV] people are going to stop looking at us as a 'little' club or 'struggling', then we need to do something big, like get to the 4th round of the cup and have an upset or two on the way, or win the trophy and have a day out that makes the news. maybe then, we'd get a few more televised games.
