Ok I’ve spent months and I just can’t.
Halifax play it when they score, Boreham Wood play it when they win.
What is that song? Da da da da dadada (sorry that’s the best I can do)
It’s driving me crazy trying to find it

From memory and Wikipedia, I do believe the name of this tune is "Tom Hark" (originally brought out in 1958 by Elias and His Zig-Zag Jive Flutes, a South African band led by penny-whistler "Big Voice Jack" Lerole and released in 1958. It entered the UK charts at number 30 on 25 April 1958; on 24 May it reached number 2, and held that position for four weeks. In all, the song was in the UK charts for about 14 weeks. However it was also covered by Ted Heath and his Music (around the same time) and later again by Jimmy Powell and also Millie Small (she of "My Boy Lollipop" fame). It was obviously extremely popular since Georgie Fame brought it out in 1965 before Whistling Jack Smith literally whistled a cover to suit his inimitable talents. However we ultimately have to thank British punk band "The Pirhana's" for the more familiar version which they released in 1980 after penning new lyrics to the song. The song peaked at number 6 on the UK Singles Chart and was the band's most successful single. It has since been adapted to football chants in Great Britain and Ireland.
