"On Saturday 2nd. February Bradford Park Avenue are scheduled to play Bridlington. For this fixture they have arranged a special event to run before kick-off continuing up to half time..
The club has arranged for two players from the 1966 World Cup Winning Team to come to Horsfall for a signing opportunity for all fans and other sports lovers.
The two players are Sir Geoff Hurst and Jackie Charlton.
They will be at Horsfall from 11-45, and will be signing photographs (supplied by them), or if you prefer sign anything of your own to bring (programmes, pictures, or World Cup memorabilia).
Each item for signing will be charged £20 each.
This event, as well as giving all the opportunity of meeting these two legends, is a great coup for the Club in as much as BBC & ITV local TV, local radio and press have indicated they will be attending the event, and possibly more than local coverage, dependant on media take-up."
Not sure that two World Cup winners signing their names will be sufficiently remarkable. Perhaps PTF doing joined-up writing would be more newsworthy?

And, lo, for the first and only time ever the Queens Arms footy team from Horsforth were mentioned in the same breath as the 1966 World Cup Winners...

The robbing gets! £20.00 for an autograph from 2 people who will never have to pay for a drink again in their lives let alone work again is an absolute disgrace and BPA should have a word with themselves for allowing their fans to be duped.
Fair play if its going in the clubs coffers though I sincerely doubt thats the case.
