Chester, Chorley, Hereford, Boston and Stockport [2A, then 3H].
A realistic and prudent assessment might have been a return of 5/15 points, allowing for injuries and recent inconsistencies. That would probably see us going into the match at FCUM with a small points advantage and the immediate opportunity to again make it bigger. If not, home games against Ashton and Southport would be the chances needed to stabilise again. Miss out there and a 'worrying situation' exists: but only at the level of "ok, we're in the bottom four but we have 10/11* games to get out of it".
Yet, we've already shown the resolve to earn a 10-man draw in one of those games. We've seen other performances that could transform draws into clear wins.
I expect us to be comfortably clear after these 8 games. I hope it might be better than that too.
But what I'm really driving at is that even if not… don't panic!

* I seem to have lost a fixture in my list. Awaiting rearrangement?

AFC Telford (away), presumably. Yes that is the only fixture left to arrange now. AB

I’m not far off pressing it. Sheesh I know we’re playing good teams but even so
