Thinking over Salford's rise up the leagues and the reasons for their success, I don't think that it's all about money though that helps. My personal view is the people behind that money have knowledge and experience of what it takes regarding players, their attitude and committment to winning and how to build a team of such players. They then know from their own experience the sort of management team that is needed to gel and fuse that squad into a winning team and they have achieved that. What does anyone else think?

Slightly tin foil hat, but there’s conspiracies on Twitter that they’re actually trying to create a feeder club for Manchester United... However I do think it’s unfair that a team that had 200 fans a couple years back have now got a money loaded bandwagon hurtling towards the upper classes of football.

I would agree with that mrsann, you only need to look at us as an example in the National League during the 17/18 season that throwing money at it does not guarantee results, you could also look at York in the North.
They have big budgets but haven't got it right with the management so you need to have everything in place to be successful and sometimes money does help with that. AB

I guess money can buy you success. But it can’t buy you a fan base. The attendance at the play off final was embarrassing and reflects badly on non league football as a whole.
