For those of us football addicts desperate to see a match (and to see it confirmed that Guiseley FC are not just the product of a fevered imagination), could somebody post where the game v Old Headingley is taking place? I seem to recall they play at the Adel Memorial Ground next to Bedquilts, but I'm not sure.
Similarly, regarding the game on July 26th, which was originally on the website as Rothwell Town but is now down as Rothwell Athletic (a confusion that would have drawn blood several years ago!); do RA still play at the old 'Rabbit Trap' ground?
Cheers OB

I am presuming this match is being played at the Univ of Bfd grounds off Woodhall Lane, Thornbury in Bradford. If it isn't hen ignore the following!
1 - From Guiseley drop down from JCT 600 roundabout to Apperley Bridge and up the hill to traffic lights at Greengates (Seven Stars pub on right)
2 - Left at these lights and follow road through Carverley past the park, round a tight bend and just after the pub on your right turn right into Woodhall Road
3 - Proceed up hill past golf course and road becomes Woodhall Lane
4 - Go down hill and before you reach junction with A647 University of Bradford Playing fields are on your right

Thanks, everybody.
Having spoken via e-mail to the Old Headingley Secretary yesterday, I can confirm that tonight's game is at the Woodhall ground (see bigj's directions).

ALL,
John is still qualified to play for the Youth team, and has joined us from Thackley. Steve, Paul and myself were all very impressed with his performance on Thursday, he looks some prospect.

Accomplished performance considering the circumstances eg: unfamiliar players, four youth team age and facing two completely different opposition teams in each half. A tall order in anyboy's book but full credit must go to the players and also to the manager and coaching staff for their prep. of the players and for this match.
Douglas looked good but its only one game. Please, please lets not rush the lad like we have others. There was all round confidence in the side, due to good performances by other players too from defence to attack. It will be a stiffer test next time out though at Rothwell.

Did anybody notice the left back that played in this freindly? Never seen him before looked a bit lightweight but impressed me all game. Had all the attributes to be a good signing. Anybody know who it was?

Adam Edwards. Adam did me a job playing out of position that night. We should have a new lad Monday night who will be in his rightful position. Come and give us a watch and tell me what you think (ALWAYS OPEN TO A BIT OF CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM) .We still have the lads to come back from LA .That will certainly give me and Paul a headache.
