Half time 0-0. We have been the better team but not created much in a disjointed display. Skiba is in goal, Hay, Cotterill, Sturdy and Agus in th back four, Dunne, Ellis, Dunning and Bett in midfield and Hanson and Knight up front. Dunne was replaced after 35 mins with Pugh in a tactical switch.

Main thing about today's game was we won - we deserved to win, but it wasn't a great performance. Bett's goal was a good illustration of the game, he scampered down the left, sent over a hopeful, somewhat sliced cross, which looped over the Lincoln keeper and nestled in the back of the net. Our performance was punctuated by misplaced passes and unforced errors, particularly in the first half. Lincoln didn't threaten greatly although had a couple of decent chances and worked hard to close the game down and prevent us playing expansively. For me, Kittrick's selection was somewhat odd - no wide man on the right (Bett on the left) and Dunning, Dunne and Ellis in midfield, made us look narrow and unbalanced. Camfield was an unused substitute. Dunne was withdrawn and replaced by Pugh after 35 minutes - he was excellent in the second half and looks a quality signing. Wilford replaced Knight up front after an hour and and did ok. The second goal came two minutes after the first and was created by Pugh who fed Bett, ran into the box to flick on the cross to Hanson who neatly headed home.
Skiba had a solid debut, making one good save when a Lincoln forward broke though, although overall he was not called upon much during the game. Meanwhile, Dickinson cut a somewhat forlorn figure on the sidelines.

Forgot to say - today was our first clean sheet since 27 November when we beat Goole Town 3-0, and in the League, since 6 October when we beat Prescot 1-0 (12 league games ago).
