Was away for most of yesterday, but didn't want all the chat on the Halifax game to pass without a mention of Peter Skiba's excellent penalty save. As penalties go it was a bit of a good 'un - hard and low and pretty well placed - but the keeper's reactions were amazing and, for anyone who didn't see it, you can be assured that it's already a contender for one of the best saves of the season...Good confidence booster, too, for a guy who's had his share of supporter's criticism in the past. I think their keeper saved one, too, but the memory fades already. Funny, that...

I would agree with that it was a brilliant save and i think that Skiba is a good shot stopper but his kicking is a bit suspect at times, is there a transfer window in the unibond ?

There was, but one of Piotr's clearances broke it. However, it's easy to be over-critical; have a look at this from the Kendal Town Forum after our last League match. z3.invisionfree.com/TheBlackandWhiteArmy/index.php?showtopic=393After all the talk when PS arrived, do we actually employ the part-time services of a specialist goalkeeping coach to assist improvement?
