Yeah Krief is still first choice despite a lot of good competition in central midfield. Even the reports from Farsley said that he should have got a straight red in the first game at Stafford, so I guess you could say he's still a dirty challenger. It's funny because when he first left Farsley the rumour was that he was considered to be too lightweight. When he came back from Guiseley he'd learned to put himself about a bit. So...er... thanks

He must have been on a course after leaving Farsley the first time, then - I remember his first game for us, a pre-season friendly, when he was tearing round the field like a combine harvester.
He's still, to my mind, the only member of Terry Dolan's squad we haven't yet replaced adequately.
Mind you, TD did once sign Mick Kennedy, undoubtedly the nastiest player I've ever seen.

Krief was class in midfield for us and yes he did like getting stuck in but thats what we miss i agree otleybard any chance of having him back please?  |

Mark Bett scored for Avenue tonight in their 4-0 away win over Matlock. He seems to be used as a sub. Is he another ex-Celt who Guiseley improved.....but couldn't then hang on to?
