The run in to the end of the season

Whilst mooching about on the Eastwood site to find out what they were expecting tonight (waste of time, couldn't find a fans forum!) I found this;

Gives a good idea of what we are up against as the season draws to a close. He reckons 70 points minimum for a playoff place, which leaves us 30 points from 17 games (I think!) with Witton to play twice yet (6 points down the pan?). Given that 30 points from 17 games is an average of 1.76 points per game and our average from games (before Sat ) was 1.74 then we really need to be on our game (no pun intended).

Is it still doable??

72 points were needed to make the playoffs last season, albeit from 42, rather than 40 games. I think 68 might be enough this season and I think we will make it.
