Always best to aim high on such fundraising. Although not sure how achievable without some hefty chunks from benefactors or funding schemes.
Am I correct in thinking that funding for the scheme cannot be approached as the board say funding is exhausted due to their other plans?
I would have kept admission prices as they were with a 'ring fence pound' going to the raise the roof fund on every cash entry.

Agreed - it would be great to have somewhere (either in the ground or a monthly update on the website) showing how much has been raised. We have the just giving page, buckets at the ground, people selling memorabilia and the Buy A Brick offer all collecting money towards the £150,000 target so it would be great to have a regular update for this. Apologies if I have missed it, but has there been any update on how successful the bucket collections etc. are proving? I caught the announcement about the grant recently, but was wondering how all the other initiatives were going? If everyone threw some shrapnel/loose change into the buckets each match we would be well on the way I feel. Having said that, and seen quite a few away grounds at NLN and NPLP level, and how the various clubs have covered their terracing behind the goals, I’m not sure we have to spend £150k to achieve what is required at Nethermoor? Thanks. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks again for the update by the way. Is this all we need at Nethermoor though (albeit less the seats)? www.thenpl.co.uk/new-stand-opened-at-chasetown-73790

We are still awaiting more quotes and designs from a few companies, Would be great if we can do something for a bit less.

I have a stupid question and it’s probably been covered somewhere loads of times before - is this a plan to cover the existing terrace, or would the terracing change at the same time?

New terracing is the plan, the current steps offer very little in elevation. But will all come down to the quotes. Hoping to get at least 6 steps in with cover along the 40m stretch that is set back.

That’s great! Taller people than me will very fairly disagree, but more terracing is more exciting to me than the actual roof - it’s often tricky to get a good view.

Has anyone bothered to consult the 'Safety At Sportsgrounds Green Guide'? Page 128 Clause 13.8 defines the max and min dimensions for terrace steps.
I can provide a copy of the whole document or extract if anyone is interested.

Hi Colin, Yes i myself have had the pleasure of looking through the green guide and sadly sort of enjoyed it... 😂 Any work undertaken will be by professional ground developers 😊
