Can’t complain at that result or score line. Beaten by a skilful side who were pacy and quick in the tackle.
Poor fist half. 2 struggled all game, but most would with no protection from a non existent midfield. Keeper all at sea on corners. Didn’t win a second ball all game. Only bonus was a decent cameo from 15.
Outfought and outclassed by a better side. Not sure where leaves any playoff chances if we ever had any.

Sometimes you have to hold your hands up and admit you were beaten by the better team. Warrington deserved all three points today and would have been hard done to if we somehow found an equaliser.

We lost to a better side today. and never looked like winning at any stage. The less pretty but more effective of the two teams from Warrington, this lot were quick and strong and organised, and were better than us all round. I think they’ll win the league.
The day wasn’t without its fun, however, and those of us who were close enough to the corner by the players tunnel were treated to a truly comic half time sketch in which two of our loyal ground staff (whose dignity I’ll preserve by withholding both their names) tried over and over again to master the complexity of putting a seemingly uncooperative corner flag back into its hole.
After repeated efforts failed, a replacement flagpole was eventually deployed, but still the problems persisted and with the the second half almost on us, a fresh problem was encountered when their attempts to attach the flag to the new pole again proved to be beyond them, and with the seconds ticking away until the ref restarted the game, the situation was finally saved when our excellent lady steward stepped in to the rescue to spare our heroes blushes. I reckon they both owe her a drink.
Anyway, all that said, this was one to put behind us but in Danny and Danny and the players I’m still happy to say I trust. On to Tuesday now….

Echo the comments above, the best side won today but we had some good chances at 0-0 and it could have been a different game had they gone our way. The first came from Keegan Hartley who charged down the goalkeeper and won posession but just couldn't get in a position to get a shot off and that opportunity was gone. Thompson made two good stops not long after, one coming from Smith's cross which nearly dropped in. Cassidy headed just wide also after a great ball in from Vaughan. Two goals in seven minutes settled this one though, the first from Mols was a ruthless finish which kissed the post on its way in. Harris then volleyed in with eight minutes of the half to go. The second half though Warrington defended particularly well and it felt like the ball just wouldn't drop for us in the box. Smith forced a good stop out of Thompson though at the end of a driving run forward. Haw then went round Thompson but had little option but to shoot low from his tight angle and a visiting defender recovered to block the shot. Whitham pulled one back on his debut with a well taken finish and it looked as if it would be an interesting final five minutes. It wasn't though, a turnover in possession in midfield and Warrington countered to finish the game off. We missed some experienced heads today with Ross Daly, Luke Dean, Callum Chippendale and Kyle Trenerry all out and the departure of Lebrun earlier in the week. A quick reaction is all we can hope for. Onto Tuesday night against Ashton at home. Come on Guiseley! AB

Badly missed Lebrun Mbeka and Ross Daly in midfield today where the tackling was non-existent. New on loan keeper and midfielder from Barnsley looked out of their depth to me and we should have had Adam Haw and Lewis Whitham on straight from the restart. We'll certainly have to do better if we want to progress in the FA Trophy in a couple of weeks time.

Chalk this one off and move on. Didn’t think we played badly considering the team we put out. Warrington moved the ball about nicely but looked vulnerable at the back. Forget about this one and move on. Onwards and upwards.

Everyone’s already said what I think about it. We weren’t out of it at any point, plenty of moments that could’ve swung it our way, and the score line doesn’t tell the whole story of the game. Bit of a patched up side but plenty of reasons to not be too downhearted - there’s promise in Keegan Hartley, a very good debut goal from Lewis Witham, George Smith gets a full 90 minutes, the return of Andy Kellett. We created chances - if only Adam’s shot isn’t cleared off the line, George Smith’s curling effort drops in, if Jake’s header drops the other side of the post! It’s a tight league, with a long way to go yet. Annoying to lose today, but we’re far from done.

Disappointing defeat in a good game between 2 decent teams We were equal and better than them for large parts of the game but they were more clinical We clearly missed Trennery - the young lad in goal looked way out of his depth and made you wonder whether he was any better than Hagie From what I’ve seen so far the best teams are South Shields, FCUM, Matlock, Warrington and Marine. We aren’t that far off and on our day have proven we can beat most teams

It seemed like most of the games last season: there wasn't much between the two teams except that the opposition scored two and Guiseley scored none.
Not one to panic about, but central midfield remains a real problem area. There's been a lot of misfortune but until we can find a solid pairing that can play every week we're going to struggle.

Agree with some of comments regarding creating but not taking chances, but sorry, if one thinks yesterday's game was an even contest, I must have been at a different game.
Warrington were more up for it, stronger, won most 2nd balls and should have won the game far easier. Their keeper had little to do until the last 15 mins or so, (yes he made the odd save, but not really troubled).
Yes we didn't have our strongest 11 out due to various reasons, but we need to be a lot better if people think the play-offs are possible.
On to Ashton on Tuesday and hopefully a lot better performance at least.
