Think we need to be a bit more brutal because some of these players are clearly not good enough. how Jordan Emery is starting games when he is so incapable of passing the ball is beyond me. Our only real threat upfront is whitham and if he can’t score then I’ve got very little hope for the rest of them. Another thing that needs to be addressed is set pieces, awful attacking them and dreadful defending them. We need a proper manager in who can get these lads back on track. Finally from now on, Ross Daly has to start every game as without him we very rarely get a result. Andy kellet, an ex football league professional should also be getting game time…

My understanding is that Daly was suspended for Liversedge due to 2 x yellow cards v Warrington.
Kellet has limited playing time due to past injuries.
Also, wasn't at Liversedge yesterday so didn't see our performance, but it feels disappointing that fans are asking for a new permanent manager already when Danny & Martin have only been in charge for less than a week. Surely we should give them at least a few games & not judge after one, albeit poor result.
Just my thoughts, but talk of Russ/Marcus being given too long & Danny E not long enough, can one judge after just one game ?

It struck me that there could be a simple explanation for 4 defeats in 5: Lebrun Mbeka. Our nosedive in form has coincided with his departure. So perhaps all we need is a good centre back and maybe we have one in Adam Yates and another in Jameel Ible. Trenerry Boateng Yates Ible Smith Whitham Daly Ackroyd/Kellett Walker Haw Cassidy - subs: Dean, Emery, Ackroyd/Kellett, new guys I can't remember. That should be a competitive team.

We've actually scored goals in the last 15 consecutive matches so it does feel like if we can keep a few clean sheets the points should start racking up.

I think we're in a position of "no need to panic yet, but the situation is serious".
I agree that it would be fair to give the new management a run of games to see how they get on, but based on Saturday's game I'm not hugely confident. Guiseley were second best for most of the game and, most worryingly, didn't look like a team that was particularly organised or motivated. Obviously it's early days and starting any game with two new central defenders is going to be somewhat disjointed, but there were a lot of poor decisions made by players and they pretty much gave up completely after the second goal went in.
Since the new management is pretty much the same as the old management, I would hope the players would be a bit better organised than they were, and they looked really low on confidence too. I can't help thinking that, now the board has made its decision regarding Danny Ellis, it would be better to have a clean break and bring in an experienced manager who can organise and motivate a reasonably talented group of players as quickly as possible.

We should have kept Kittrick. Simple. Wouldn't be in such a mess with him in charge.
