What do we think given recent frosts of the chance that our game against Matlock on Saturday will go ahead.

If temperatures in Matlock are anything like here in Bradford its unlikely to go ahead.

Pitch inspection at 10am tomorrow.
Unless it’s playable now there is surely zero chance it will be playable in the morning given the forecast.
Hope it’s not one of those where the match referee calls it off when he arrives.

Pity that we’ve had two games off this week when we’re on a roll.
Buxton up the road on so guessing they have some covers at their ground or a micro tropical climate 😂

Thanks Netherfieldlion. I was hoping my tropical climate suggestion was the correct answer but global warming hasn’t reached the Peak District yet!! 😂
Brother in law just got to Grimsby to watch Harrogate and it’s just been called off so thankfully our referee took an early decision preventing unnecessary travel and inconvenience.

Unlike at Banbury where the game against Darlington was postponed at 2.30 after the Darlington fans had completed the 200 mile journey!

In circumstances like those at Banbury where a game is called off thirty minutes before kick off the officials ought to have to reimburse the visiting fans expenses. Maybe then they'd give it more thought.

Altrincham travelled to Yeovil yesterday and that wasn't called off until 1:37pm with Yeovil having similar happen to them on Tuesday night when they went to Barnet, that one was called off at 6:12pm.
Both times supporters were well on their way, if not there already, such a shame that it seems their needs are considered last. AB

Was wondering. Of all the matches that did go ahead in NL, NLN and NPL yesterday, how many were on plastic pitches?
