It was a game where whoever scored first was likely to win. Guiseley got the first, and then what looked quite a soft penalty not long after, and that did for Stafford. It wasn't a 4-0 game and if they'd scored first they'd likely have won.
That said, it was still an enjoyable performance with some well taken goals. They're starting to look like a proper team and even if there's too much to do to make the playoffs the second half of the season should be good fun.

Think we get dubious penalties given against us so it's a change for us to get one but even so he admitted that his defence should have done better to stop the last two goals. Not that they offered much of a threat upfront anyway.

Their protests about the penalty were quite muted. Perhaps not so soft at close quarters

Enjoyed Saturday. Yes, well done to the club for the crowd control. Agree the Stafford fans were a decent bunch. One very informative about the Division and who gets paid what! Every player deserves credit for their performance. Thought Chippendale also worth a mention second half. Maybe Whitham provided the stand out moment, not sure if he should control his showboating though for when or if he plays at a higher level. Agreed. Chips pass for the goal was better than the finish whilst Lewis’s “banter with their keeper was unnecessary and just as unfunny 2nd time as 1st time
