Good point yesterday in tough conditions. Injuries etc. we’ve got 3 big home games coming up, two against play off chasing sides. Whitham has a ligament injury and a lot of the lads have knocks. i can’t help but look past the fans playing a huge role in getting us over the line. Onto the topic of fans. The restrictions have definitely made a positive difference, with no trouble occurring at any games since hyde. Even at Warrington yesterday it never looked like there would be a spark. I do think the restrictions do need to be looked at as there are fans aged 16-21 who will behave and want to come watch the team when they are in a position like they are in now, although we would like them to be full time guiseley fans the possibility of that is very low so we need to get used to them coming to the “bigger” or “more important” games. I believe we need this support after speaking to alot of the players they’ve clearly stated it helps them push on to get all three points. take shields (H) for example. The new membership put in place is a decent idea but not everyone will want to be sticking a tenner into something that they shouldn’t need to in the first place. Albeit a tenner is not A lot of money, most will be very reluctant to pay it. I think if it can be looked at and altered it could go a long way in helping us achieve our push for the play offs.

Disagree 'If ain't broke don't fix it' should be the clubs approach imo.

I don’t agree. There’s been one home game since the chaos of Hyde. You don’t have one encouraging event and think, “that’s great, it’s all fixed, now let’s switch it back to how it was”.
Your one data point - Stafford at home - says things were a lot better but with some unpleasantness at the end. So that is your starting point. That’s the baseline, the minimum acceptable safety standard has been achieved once in a row and now you need to do it repeatedly to find out what really works and what isn’t really needed longer term.

Agree on some of your points Josh the team do benefit from the good atmosphere of a good crowd.on the other hand the team were distracted by the antics of the idiots at the Hyde game. Why should I or anyone else have their enjoyment of watching Guiseley ruined by some stupid fools who taunt the opposing fans then runaway or throw bricks at opposition fans coach. Like yourself I go to most away games I don’t want to walk around away grounds with a target on my back because some idiot at Guiseley upset some of the opposition fans. On yesterday’s match thought Guiseley battled hard for a point against a good experienced Warrington side. Probably the hardest of the games we have left. Onwards and upwards.

Disagree 'If ain't broke don't fix it' should be the clubs approach imo. Agree completely The Club should stick with this policy until the end of the season. Whilst Stafford was a lot better, there was still some unpleasantness The Club can review the policy ahead of the next campaign although I think if there is any inkling that things might recur then they should continue There is little to be gained and a lot to be lost by reverting back

I can’t see the current policy changing. I think, for the sake of the 16-21 year olds who genuinely come to support the club, it’s essential that it continues - after all it’s great that everyone has confidence in the young people in the ground and I felt we did at home to Stafford and away yesterday. It’s been a good way of separating the wheat from the chaff.
Let’s just continue with what works
Of course we want to grow the support - however it’s a case of quality over quantity for me.

The lads we are trying to keep out offered zero support. Just obscene chants at the opposition. They were literally not supporters of this club. We were merely a venue for their idiocy.

Stick to the current restrictions for the rest of the season because, although Stafford was a promising start, much bigger tests will follow starting with Radcliffe on Saturday.

Think the policy should absolutely remain. . We used to pride ourselves on being a family friendly club and we need to earn that reputation back. This will take time. Probably beyond this season.
Youths running riot not only affects the club it impacts visiting supporters, the Guiseley residents and in particular genuine young supporters and children attending with their parents.

Unfortunately there will be a handful of decent lads who'll miss out - literally just a handful. The policy should stay and no doubt will. Otherwise many of us who've been supporting for the last 30 years will stop attending.
