Didn’t hold out much hope after seeing the starting line up.
Disappointing, for all the recent improvement, not enough quality beyond those who weren’t on the pitch. Thankfully they stopped playing second half.

No real quality from either side in fact garbage !! Just glad we have 46 points with 9 games to go because today we looked like relegation fodder - as todays opponents did to be honest - how are they in 3rd place !!

Never going to be an outstanding game bearing in mind the number of players out injured and not available and new players straight into the fray and it wasn't. Ok,I'm just an ordinary supporter with no special football knowledge, but even I can recognise fairly quickly into a game if the opposition are lobbing every ball long and forward,is that called route one?who the intended player is on the receipt of that and would try to close that player down accordingly,is that what I saw today?and even though our bench were apoplectic and received yet another yellow card nothing was done to change the plan. If its not working its not purely the fault of the players.

Their 9 and 10 were quality first half. Visitors hardly gave up a chance all game. We were solid after the first fifteen minutes but they’d already stolen a march on us by then. Not much football but that’s as we’ve come to expect in this division.
Paul spoke well in his interview. Must stay positive, we won’t be so clapped out with a week between games and there are plenty of points left to play for.

Don't agree with comments about Radcliffe They were very good indeed as their record shows. We were much better last 30 and with players to come back all is not quite lost

Think we write off this season and let PP build his own side instead of trying to improve on what he inherited and bringing players in. Radcliffe didn't offer much as we played into their hands with aimless long balls and gifted them the two opening goals. Only sides that have impressed me this season are South Shields and Hyde United, the rest have looked beatable if we had a settled team with consistent oerformances.

On a freezing Nethermoor day the Lions came out cold and Radcliffe took full advantage with two quick fire goals. The game was effectively over after just 14 minutes when Navarro struck from the spot before heading past Mason four minutes later to put his two goals up. We didn't really test the visiting keeper in the first half but Daly did come close as his effort took a deflection to send it wide. The second half was much better and new man Smales-Briathwaite was the bright spark all afternoon, he nearly pulled one back but his effort was blocked. He did half the deficit after 70 minutes with a well taken finish though. But despite pushing hard an equaliser never really looked like coming and Radcliffe took advantage of some sloppy defending to add a third in injury time. A big game to lose at the end of a punishing month. We move on to the visit of Gainsborough Trinity on Saturday. Come on Guiseley! AB

A repeat of Tuesday night, except Radcliffe could score goals! They had more pace and better passing skills. The revolving door that is the Guiseley first team is not getting a chance to build a cohesive team which showed on Saturday. New players introduced overnight cannot lead to success. What is more important ? To build a strong cohesive team that plays watchable skilled football (not head tennis ) or to scramble, come hell or high water, to try to reach the playoffs?
I know which I prefer to watch !

The past week is the Quietest I’ve seen Nethermoor for years. Atmosphere is awful. I came on here the other week saying something needs to change because it’s genuinely desolate. I was slated by some and many objected and I can see why but things can be altered, as I mentioned, to make sure the place can become lively. We are a team challenging for the play offs and you could hear a pin drop for the full 90 mins. The players and staff have clearly told me and many others the importance of having an atmosphere and getting behind the lads but with the current rules set in place we are miles away from that. It’s a crucial point in the season, with 4-5 games to go at home a somewhat decent atmosphere, I’m certain will go a long way. As for the past 2 performances, shocking. But with players out and new ones coming in, it takes time to gel. Onto Saturday in what again is a must win game.

I agree Josh the atmosphere at the moment could be better but supporters also react to what's happening on the pitch and recent performances have been dire, the manager agrees. Pushing for play off place really is a pipe dream,I for one will be more than happy to maintain mid table after the start of the season. Finally a mob of young men hurling uncalled for abuse at opposition fans and goal keepers is not supporting the team, the majority of them wouldn't recognise a Guiseley player if they fell over him, they were there just to cause upset and discomfort to those around them and I and long standing supporters of this club miss them not at all.

I only saw people disagreeing with your suggestion to remove the new safety measures.

Josh Id agree with you regarding the atmosphere being quiet but Id suggest the atmosphere before with the " minihoolligans" was terrible and the club had to act. Standing close to the George Stock stand before the new regulations came into force was annoying at best and embarrasing at worst- it didnt do the club or supporters any favours . I was getting fed up with it all. Hopefully we can get real supporters like yourself to back the team and forget the Childish chants. What happened when Shields came and Hyde came was embarrasing . We had to move from it.
