Its a warm and sunny afternoon at Prescot and the notoriously bumpy and uneven playing surface doesn't look too bad. One team change from Wednesday's victory at North Ferriby with Whitehouse in for Pugh. So the full team is Skiba, Lloyd, Merris, Ellis, Cotterill, Crossley, Burton, Crooks, Whitehouse, Brown and Muller. Subs are Morgan, Bader, Tiani, Camfield and Hanson.

First 15 mins - pretty even, we haven't got our passing game going yet. No decent chances created and Prescot not carrying much threat.

19 mins - Crossley narrowly wide with a header from a Crooks free kick

28 mins GOAL - Muller was fouled just outside the box Whitehouse swung in the resulting free ick from the left and Crossley got his head to it first to nod in from 5 yards.

34 mins GOAL - Brown fouled near the corner flag. Crooks took the resulting free kick from the right and Burton headed in off the post. We are playing much better now.

38 mins GOAL - nicely worked close passing move down the right ending with Brown darting into the box and crossing from the touchline for unmarked Dave Merris to tap in at the far post - game effectively over.

Half time - Prescot Cables 0 Guiseley 3 In truth, we haven't played that well , the passing has been sloppy at times and too many players have not been in the game enough. That said,
the pitch IS bad and makes life difficult for passing sides. Once we scored, Prescot quickly lost heart and we started to play with much more confidence. We should score more in the second half

50 mins GOAL - Muller released Brown through the middle who outpaced the defence to calmly slot past the keeper fo 4-0
