I believe non-league day came about to highlight all that is good about the game and to try to attract more support, I'm afraid it's just become very predictable and a non-event,I'm not just having a go at Guiseley but most non-league clubs, offers for season ticket holders of EFL and Premier league clubs seems to be the only thing clubs can think of, punters who won't come back regularly because they are season ticket holders at other clubs, how about offering this to Guiseley, Yeadon and other surrounding area residents on production of a utility, council tax bill, maybe they would come back regularly after a vist? Just a thought, does anyone else have any ideas to freshen up non-league day?

Yeah get Match Of The Day to cover six non-league games from various levels of the pyramid and give them the full treatment. As we approach the business end of the season there are enough key games to choose from.

Whilst the discounts offered to Premier, EFL and GAFC season tickets holders and fans are a great way to promote Non League Day. Has any thought been given to the travelling Belper supporters on Saturday, assuming that there will be some in attendance? From what I can see, unless mistaken, they are still expected to pay full price? Could not an home season ticket holder “adopt” an away fan for the afternoon perhaps?
