Emirates FA Cup Second Round Qualifying Draw

Should we find a way past Marine tomorrow night in the replay we will travel to Spennymoor Town on 16th September in the second round qualifying.

Our home league game against Atherton Collieries on 16th September will need a new date following the Colls progression in the FA Cup after a 4-0 win at Guisborough in the first round qualifying.

One rubbish draw after another isn’t it? Ah well.

I am one of the generation that refuses to call the FA cup, the ‘Emirates’ or indeed any other sponsor’s name. If the sponsor wants to lash out on sponsoring cup or league competitions, that’s up to them. But, I prefer FA Cup, Premier League or League Cup or whatever. Sometimes, I refer to leagues as the first tier, fifth tier etc. The draw seems to have given the Lions a home banker (for ST) . (If they of course get through.) But, you never know.
