Trouble with me is, I’m never bloody happy.
I was expecting Radcliffe or Marine away so I could complain that we never get a kind draw.
Now we get an away tie at a club from down the bottom of the division below us and I just worry that it’s a banana skin.
Never. Bloody. Happy, me.

Walsall Wood won away at Ilkeston in last round, so this won't be a easier tie imo. Rallyman

Shame we couldn't get someone up north instead of a trek down to the West Midlands.

Nice to get an away tie against a team we haven't played before at a ground we haven't visited, as mentioned above Walsall got a great result on Saturday so we'll have to be at it to win! Confirmation of the draw and the tie will be played on Saturday 28th October: guiseleyafc.co.uk/23-24-isuzu-fa-trophy-first-round-draw/AB

Walsall Wood played 3 games away from home to get to this stage (the last vs Ilkeston). In some ways, they should start as favourites

Two new managers in charge for the weekend with Walsall parting company with their manager earlier
