Random question - does anyone know what the position is with Laurence Sorhaindo? Was really looking forward to seeing him play in a Guiseley shirt, but he hasn't even been in the squad, despite a relatively successful short term loan. Is he injured at the moment? I recall PP saying Sorhaindo was injured when he came back from loan. That's the last I heard |

Very enjoyable and entertaining again, and great to see a clean sheet.
Without wanting to devalue what the caretaker management team have done, I get a sense that this is what happens when relatively good players are given the freedom to play as they wish. It's great to watch and great to pick up points against these struggling sides, but more defensive discipline is going to be needed to mount a real challenge (although as I've said before, I'm not hugely bothered about that this year as long as they entertain). Hopefully whoever takes the job on permanently will be able to instill a bit more structure without losing the creative freedom and great forward play.

Guess that all we can expect given the current situation - a comfortable win and a half decent crowd. Not riveting and remain slow out of the blocks but a win is a win.

Fairly even game until Gabby scored and once the 2nd went in thought we were comfortable and only one winner. I think Liam and his team deserve credit. The players appear to be playing with a greater confidence and are prepared to take risks. Suspect Liam is more arm-around-the-shoulder than PP. As others have said, these are good players who were under-performing. I do hope a new permanent manager is appointed soon . It should be an easier sell now….
