We have recently received technical drawings and are close to agreeing a preferred supplier. I believe a full update should be in an upcoming program.
In terms of fundraising the total raised is now just over £40k.

How are things progressing with the new stand? Last i heard we were looking to start building work at the end of this season.
Is this still on track given the season ends in 6 weeks or so?

One assume if the 3G pitch is to be installed in the closed season, the stand will have to wait until after that as one would get in the way of the other. Rallyman

Disappointingly our grant application with the football foundation for the amount needed was not approved. As such the committee are looking at other options. The planned installation was going to take 2 weeks so would have been done after the pitch.

That rationalisation was that they prioritise projects which are required for clubs to make ground grading requirements. They also observed that we currently have sufficient covered terrace/seating to meet our average attendance requirements. It’s disappointing but we still hope to move forward with improving the overall ground facilities.

Just to clarify, we still hope to achieve roof/terracing but now on a smaller scale with a reduced budget. We are awaiting some clarification on grants and other funding. We are still selling bricks, looking for stand sponsorship, pitchside board sponsorship and seeking donations. If you are interested please email us on either of the following sales@wharfedaletshirts.com raisetheroofgafc@gmail.com yorkshire-gods-own-county.com/products/raise-the-roof-brickJames
