Emphatic win against what I assume was a depleted Morpeth given they only had 3 subs.
You can only beat what’s in front of you and having been pegged back to 1-1 after total domination the response was ruthless.
Midfield was outstanding with Whelan MOM for me although Prince ran him very close. Mariette looks a very good player and Afuye ran their left back ragged.
Just what was needed to keep us in the mix.
Happy days.

Total domination. We blew Morpeth out the park today. Maybe getting a little carried away but performances like today make me think we could maybe achieve something special this year and make/win the playoffs. One of the most dominant performances I have seen this year. Should have had 6 today.
If we can keep players fit and firing, this could be a year to remember. Expected a win today but its our performances against top teams in recent weeks that show we absolutely should be considered playoff contenders. There won't be many teams that relish playing against us at the moment.
Today Afuye was absolute class on the wing. Reminded my of a Lewis Whitham in his prime who could take anyone on 1 for 1. MOM performance.

Total dominance from minute 1-90 and other than the exquisite equaliser as comfortable as a win can be. We could have scored a minimum of three or four more today after hitting the bar twice and their keeper making several good saves. The first goal came with the game just two minutes old when Kallan Murphy's header was diverted into his own goal by a visiting defender. After several missed opportunities it looked like we would love to regret not extending our lead. Murphy, Kendall, Ekpolo, Afuye and others all going close. Morpeth fought back though and scored the equaliser with a sublime finish lobbing Battersby and all our defenders on the line. With five minutes left of the first half Kendall got a goal similar to the opening strike powering a header past Lowson into the net. We so nearly started the second half with a goal when Ekpolo's strike flashed across the face with Murphy unable to get a touch. Another corner brought another goal when after a few blocked efforts Ible unleashed a powerful effort from the edge of the six yard box. It felt like the match clincher but Moore wanted to add more gloss to the win. His finish was excellent too, squeezing the ball in via the post to wrap up the three points. There was still time for Murphy and Kendall to whack the bar as we looked to extend the lead. An excellent result and performance, let's take that into next week's trip to Stafford. Well played Guiseley! Onto Stafford Rangers next week. Come on Guiseley! AB

About as dominant and comprehensive a win as you could see, fun to watch!
Basically should’ve scored more in the first twenty minutes and then five or ten flat minutes after their equaliser, but otherwise we were in total control and not just that, we were continually making chances to score.

Great all round performance from Guiseley yesterday admittedly against a poor Morpeth team. We just didn’t give them a chance to play .On the front foot from the start. The midfield dominated and the play out wide was sublime. With a bit of luck the score could easily have been six or seven. Well done to all involved. Onwards and upwards.

Very good performance. Wingers played with the Morpeth full backs. Still, a silly goal conceded, though it was taken very well. And why no floodlights?

A very good performance in a match where we always looked in control, even after when we conceded, and it was great to see good game management in the second half which hasn’t always been our strong point. Morpeth couldnt live with the pace of our wingers and the tricks of Afuye, with Prince and Whelan in complete command of central midfield throughout the match. This might seem harsh after a 4-1 win, but we need to be more clinical in front of goal. Aside from Moore’s tidy finish, our other three goals were aided by dodgy defending and/or goalkeeping, whilst we spurned at least half a dozen other excellent chances if not more. I just worry that we are unlikely to get away with that against our play-off rivals. I think the Andys have now found their system and formation and it seems settled, with the the probable addition of Nsaka once he’s back from injury, and we are looking a real threat in every match at the moment. Looking positive at the moment and being a Guiseley fan feels good

I thought we were excellent yesterday And whilst Morpeth weren’t at the races, I think that was more to do with how well we played. We are very different team to the one at the start of the season. We are much better for playing Kallian up top. The shame is that there is no place for Gabs at present. But it would be hard to drop any of the midfield 3 and I guess Gabs would play the Prince role. If I was to be critical then we should have scored more and we should have put the game to be before they scored. If I was to be really critical, Afuye is brilliant 1-on-1 but his end product is lacking although as Andy W said he won numerous corners, some of which we scored from. I guess if he did cross or finish as well as his 1-on-1 then he wouldn’t be playing for Rochdale let alone Guiseley There’s a real bounce about Guiseley at the moment. Long may it continue….

No it's obviously Chippendale that's out of favour. Tell me if under contract do players get paid picked or not.?
