According to the report in today's WAO, the 'game' went on long enough to prevent any form of refund's being obligatory.
It appeared a strange decision to start the contest at all; vast areas of the pitch made it impossible to play a ground pass more than eighteen inches and even if the constant monsoon had stopped and a tropical sun emerged it wouldn't have been playable before today.
Still, the conditions would have made the result a lottery, so it's probably just as well it didn't finish.

.the players would had had grave doubts which they no doubt would have voiced to the officials, but to no avail.i take my hat off to the fans who made the journey up north on a terrible night and hope that something can be done to compensate them for the wasted journey, but i aint holding my breath.it would be nice of kendal to reduce the admission when it is replayed for the guiseley fans.

Not with my teeth thank you.
One of the Kendal officials said the ref & liners had to play at least 20 mins to make sure they got full pay. Not sure if this is true or not.
Hopefully, the replay will be sometime in the next month or so as I'll still be working up at Carlisle, (only 45 mins to Kendal when not raining!!)
