Poor game a draw would have probably been a fair result. Chances few and far between. Liam should have scored and Kal should have done better with a header. Ollie unlucky with the goal I thought could have been a very good save. Thought subs left a lot to be desired. Onto Whitby three points a must if it’s on. Onwards and upwards.

A game that never got going results in a late defeat for the Lions. The first half was very tight with only one or two chances but it was Marine who were on top in terms of possession and game play. Gregson unleashed a powerful shot that smacked the underside of the bar before being cleared away. Then we went up the other end and Murphy headed wide when in a good position. Otherwise it was only Afuye's cross that just needed a touch in terms of action for ourselves. Marine put a lot of dangerous balls into the box but Ible, Walker and others defended well to keep them out. The second half was much more even but still it was a struggle for either side to create anything clear cut. Tongue had two good openings though, his first shot got blocked but he then ran through on goal but Jones dashed off his line to stop the second effort. Jones had parried a few crosses all afternoon but we couldn't take advantage of the errors. Marine took the lead when Bobby Grant spotted Battersby off his line from range and lobbed the away keeper. It proved to be the only goal in a really tight game. Unlucky Guiseley! We move on to Whitby Town away on Tuesday night. Come on Guiseley! AB

Poor game to say it was 4th v 5th.
Not what I expected at all in terms of quality and atmosphere.
Had 0-0 written all over it and would have settled for that.
No need for panic. Just need a positive result on Tuesday and all will be well again.

Yesterdays result was only the second time this season we have lost a corresponding fixture we won last season. Whitby at home being the other.
Currently where there was a corresponding fixture we have gained 17 points more than last season. So heading in the right direction for sure.
