We have had an issue for some time with match day food and drinks but the last few months the situation has become ridiculous, almost laughable.
At yesterdays game, attended by friends from work they were annoyed that the food had run out almost after kick off. The away fans were also similarly annoyed. Regarding drinks, the clubhouse ran out of milk for tea and coffee!!
What is the issue, can we not plan for games. We must roughly know what to order. If they aren’t sold these could be offered to people in the clubhouse for a cost or frozen. Do we not have a freezer facility.
The lost income from yesterdays game must have run in to hundreds of pounds possibly thousands due to lack of planning. . 900 people all wanting food and drink and we can’t deliver. Shambles.
Whilst talking about food options why is there no option to buy a burger. Possibly the simplest thing to make for maximum profit. If the club cannot sort this we need to bring in outside caterers who can.
I go to pretty much every away game and our offering is pitiful in comparison. Come on Guiseley we surely can do better.

Definitely not great at Guiseley. The pies they do are good I'm guessing yesterday they did not expect 900 attendance as about 650 has been the most so far this year.
I cannot comment on most away day food as I'm not a fan of thin burgers or chips. However the pulled pork sandwich I had a Whitby on Tuesday was fab.

Yesterday aside we struggle with 400 fans never mind the upper figure.
Like you I avoid burgers but the number of people who do is very highly but not an option!!
They ran out of cups for drinks the week before. Milk and cups are a staple for a brew I believe!!

We did have outside caterers a few years ago who for larger crowds put an extra van on at the car park gate but they got ditched because the club thought they could do it cheaper in-house.Time taken to get served is also increased because the servers have to calculate the cost of a coffee and a KitKat on a tablet!

What I would say about pricing. Charge a straight £1 or £1.50 for drinks. Scratching around for five pence pieces for change when a cup of tea is £1.15 slows the service down. Queuing twenty minutes for a brew is bad enough in the first place!

It's pathetic. You can go and ask for chips at half time and seems to come as a surprise that there might be a sudden demand. Waiting 10, 15, 20 minutes for them to be ready. I've heard away supporters say it's the poorest provision in the league. Perhaps time to get some adults involved?

Not having a go at the young volunteers who do their best, but agree with points above. Its been a debacle for ages. Running out of milk etc. The making of packet soups always makes me laugh. Why not just have a big pan of soup etc ready to serve? The queue in the clubhouse has always been a pain. No thought of queue management with chairs in the way. Why cant they ask if you want milk with your tea/coffee, rather than have a pint of it in the side to help yourself?. Would save a lot of time and hassle. Certainly with a fairly basic offering and better management (which wouldn't cost) things could easily be improved.

Have to say the chicken pies and steak pies are excellent but in my experience are almost always sold out before the game has even kicked off. Not good enough.
Secondly we do need a better variety of food. Whether this is burgers or something else would probably be up to the club but definitely needs bringing up to scratch.
The last game I went to they didn't even have any chocolate bars left at all. Sell by dates on chocolate bars is usually best part of a years so definitely no excuse to be running out of those.
Sadly I do agree that the provisions at Guiseley are probably the worst I've experienced as an overall package, despite what little food we do have actually being quite nice.

How was it today? I spotted a Cornish and at least two pies come out for the second half!
