After yesterday's results, things could have been a lot worse, but with both Hyde & Worksop losing, we still have a chance of the play-off's, but it will need a mighty change in performance to make this happen. Think Rylands, Macclesfield & Marine are out of our touch even though Marine lost, so its effectively 4 teams vying for the last play-off spot. We're probably the outsiders now particularly with our recent form, but all is not lost.
We need a big week, (as apposed to our very very poor last week in Mr Welsh's words), with wins against both Rylands & Worksop. Lose either of those & we will probably fall short especially if Worksop take any points off us.
One thing is for sure though, we need a big reaction going forward.

Yeah it's nice to have something to hope for - if we beat Worksop and outperform Ashton then we'd almost certainly also finish above Hyde.
But Ashton have an easy looking run-in and we suddenly don't look like beating anyone. It's a long shot and depends on us playing like we did previously, not recently.
