I’m really looking forward to this. I was sorry to see that Steven Drench and Gavin Rotheray weren’t down to attend, but it’ll be great to see the likes of Wally and Bosh again.

Sadly Gavin Rothery is unavailable (I would have loved him too on a personal level as he was my favourite player from that squad) and Steve Drench may yet attend depending on Chorley’s play off situation as he is their GK coach. AB

Will the bar be open? Or the catering outlets?

Thank you to everyone for their support today, it was an amazing way to end the season but it wouldn’t have been possible without everyone’s support! AB

In case of interest, I did some very brief post match interviews with Oli Johnson, Danny Lowe, Wally, Wayne Brooksby and Jake Lawlor. They were all very positive about the occasion and updated me on what they are doing now. Interviews are now on the website.

I just wanted to share another thank you for everyone's support of the John Bridson Tribute Match.
We've raised over £3000 which is simply staggering and really touching, everyone's support means so much to us as a family and the success of the event wouldn't have been possible without all the volunteers and people taking part.
Thank you so much from all the family.

Today marks the first anniversary of the passing of my Dad and I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who played a part in raising £4394 in his name.
This has enabled us to find the purchase of a new tunnel which has been ordered and should be in place for the start of the new league season.
