Robbie Savage won't be too happy then so probably another managerial change? When I saw the result, I thought of Mr. Savage, and the German word "schadenfreude" (the pleasure derived from someone else's misfortune) sprang to mind. You might not have heard of the word before, but I suspect you experienced it too.

To be fair to Macc, they finished second to Radcliffe who also had money pumped into their team, (accept probably less than from Mr Savage), but for me, it was no disgrace finishing second to them.
Problem for next season for all teams is Mr Savage knows there's only one position to finish in and thats above second.

So Mickleover are the winners of the NPL lottery & join the other 21 teams for next season.

Not fussed too much about fixtures but I’ll put my now-annual request for Whitby away to be a Saturday in August or April, please. Fully expect to be heading there on a freezing Tuesday in January though…
