Only league ever in the Uk ever to award points for games un-played From the lowest Sunday morning league to the premier league The only league I am aware of to ban two Blazers from ever standing for re-election if they ever go back down from there involvement with the above and their gain from it. The only league ever to have the rest of the blazers to allow this to happen and not resign The only league Blazers to ever suppress a national scandal Best league in non league having a laugh mate ,one man runs it rest are sheep not Blazers.

Bitter with very good reason OB and for the same reason boselecta I hope Farsley never return to the unibond.
I remember that season after being given and then refused the title and promotion Celtic beat Whitby in the semi final of the play-offs. Their manager said in the post match interview something along the lines of that it would not have been fair in the circumstances if Celtic hadn't won (unfortunately Workington weren't so charitable in the final). That about summed up how wrong it all was.
Unless provoked further I'll shut up now.

You're right, prisoner, it was very, very wrong.
But the sniping and gloating on here that season, from someone rather close to the Farsley top level, also made it very, very funny.

Q: Do we care? A: No.

You should care bigj at least in so much that unless the league has changed its then truly dreadful decision making processes for what was the predictable scenario of a club not being able to fulfil its fixtures then Guiseley could suffer similarly in the future. I don't think that the points raised in the other thread were adequately responded to by Guiseley's man on the league management board. The League's rude and arrogant response to gordanchas' e-mail makes me suspect that things have not improved over time.

Dwelling on past events that you can do nothing about is unproductive, we are where we are and in the League that we are in whether professionally run or not.
Could make similar points about Farsley when Leeds City Council refused planning permission it was all doom and gloom according to your Directors with the very future of the club supposedly in jeopardy.
Contrast that with the response to the recent fire in the stand at Nethermoor, £10k already spent in clearing up and we are covered by insurance so it will either be rebuild or refurbish full stop.
Not going to Boston today and havd been looking for a local game and did consider FC until I saw the £12 admission which is a fiver more than Nethermoor to watch a team in the division above us.
Points which sum up the differences between our two clubs and I know which I prefer but good luck for the rest of the season.

Get yourself down to the Nest bigj or anyone else who wants to see a local game. The £12 is to sit, it's only £10 to get in. I'll even treat you to a half time cup of tea if you want. I'll be standing behind the Farsley dug out for the game. If not I hope you manage to catch a game somewhere, BPA V Buxton is on. It's not as though you can sit at home and watch the Guiseley result on the vidiprinter.
