With Guiseley playing away, is anyone planning on a trip to Nethermoor to watch the Farsley game on Saturday?
Also, does anyone know if the club is being paid for this? Or are we just being generous to one of our footballing neighbours?

I doubt Guiseley will not financially benefit from the Farsley game somehow. Assume they will be renting the ground to Farsley who will pay for the privilege. Also assume bar takings & food sales will be to Guiseley's benefit. These are only my thought though.

There’s a certain degree of cost involved to the club - staff, energy, pitch repair - that I would think need covering at the very least. I expect Farsley would have wanted to pay to be local and give some of their fans a chance to cheer for the team.
I know we have all grizzled and grumped over the last however many years but the people running our club have never made the club homeless - maybe we don’t have it so bad…

It’s certainly not an act of generosity. Don’t know the exact details but Farsley are definitely paying for it. I’d say they ought to pay for any repairs done to the pitch but given their record, it might be quicker to just do it ourselves…

I presume an unusually late potato harvest has led to the unavailability of Farsley's pitch.

I presume an unusually late potato harvest has led to the unavailability of Farsley's pitch. Some potatoes quietly exploring the possibility of gaining permission to build an exclusive development of two and three vegetable bed townhouses?

I think playing at a proper stadium will provide a big boost to all Farsley fans, players and officials. For some reason I can’t explain, I don’t have the warmth to Farsley as I do for BPA. Must be the Bowser effect!

Looks like not a good place for them as they went down 1-2 to Kettering with a man sent off.
