Wow, what a win that was! We had to battle hard and our backs were well and truly up against the wall in the first half against a Kidderminster side who created some great chances. Hemmings and Kouhyar were causing us all sorts of problems in the opening half. Hemmings was at the centre of all of Kiddy's attacking play but his finishing was wasteful. Dibble dropped Brown's cross but we couldn't take advantage of the slip up. Then the hosts had a penalty, Mbeka with a handball and the ref had little option but to point to the spot. Cracknell stopped Hemmings' poor penalty to keep the scores level! We nearly got in behind at the end but Ackroyd's flicked pass went into Dibble's hands and the chance was gone. Strangely Phil Brown opted to take off his two danger men and it had the desired affect for the Lions! The second half was no where near as good for the hosts and they struggled to break through our defence. The introduction of Emmett proved key though, the midfielder introduced some control to our play in the final third of the pitch. With seven minutes left we found a way to get in front. Lufudu drove into the box and cut the ball back for Longbottom who slammed home from close range! We nearly had a second a minute later when Longbottom's pass found Emmett but he couldn't get it past Dibble. Kidderminster didn't really create much else and our place in the first round was secured! What an effort from the players and staff, depleted through injury and we kept yet another FA Cup clean sheet. Well played Guiseley! Onto Monday's First Round Draw! Come on Guiseley! AB

This victory must be up there with the wins at Accrington and Chorley so well done to the management team and the players for delivering another sensational result that puts us in amongst the big boys. Listened to the superb commentary by Colin and Co and had the feeling that however much Harriers tried they were not going to score and a replay ay Nethermoor looked a distinct possibility before Jon and Will decided to change things.

Fantastic result What a terrific cup run. Ashton (Top of table) Northwich (Top of table) Scunny (Top of table) Kiddy (Away, League above) Just hope we get a good draw; Home - winnable, Home - Bradford/Brum/Wrexham or A nice awayday

Great away support rewarded with a brave and gutsy Guiseley performance that stood firm against a Kidderminster team who ultimately ran out of ideas.
We were already looking the more likely winners when we scored and saw the game out well from thereon.
A brilliant day for the club with some fabulous scenes at the end with players and supporters celebrating as one.

Unbelievable today. What a team. Brilliant support too. I absolutely loved it today (in retrospect). Given the players missing and the utter commitment and effort of those on the field today we can only be immensely proud. Bit lost for words.
Can’t wait for the draw on Monday.

Fantastic result for Guiseley yesterday. Up against it all the first half thought it was only a matter of time till Kidderminster scored. But the lads dug in and made it to halftime without conceding. Second half was different we took the game to them as they ran out of ideas. When we scored the celebrations were fantastic. Congratulations to all concerned players management fantastic achievement. Special mention to our young fans who behaved impeccably. Very happy coach coming home. Onwards and upwards.

Yes I totally agree regarding the young supporters who were a credit to the club both in the ground and on the coach … as were the grown ups!
