'Guiseley Guile' was a special beer brewed at the Station Hotel pub just down the road from Fort Nethermoor. It was current around the early 1980's and was a strong bitter with a 'caramel' type of flavour similar to Taylor's 'Landlord'.
Does anyone else remember it?

Yes remember it well. It was brewed on the premesis as was the fad for a couple of years at some pubs in the area. thought it was about 1978/9 to 1980/1 could be wrong as my memory of the era is a bit fuzzy (too much guiseley guile!)

Guiseley Gyle an excellent beer brewed by Pete Young former landlord of the Station pub - I moved to the area in September 1984 and I remember drinking it before one of my first visits to watch Guiseley shortly after my move to the area.
