Yeah, prisoner, but what you saw today was NOTHING like the last few matches have been.

I'm only a new fan myself, but everyone has been so friendly that I already feel a part of the Guiseley family!

It looked more promising. Tuck looked happier more central and brought the aggressive running Walshaw normally brings. I thought Holland gave a master class in tidy and sometimes penetrative passing when he came on; somewhat less impressed with Nestor when he came on. We did concede quite a few chances though and needed Worsnop to be on good form. btw I thought Fitzgerald scored the second goal,

Holland looks a really classy player, not very mobile but I agree that his passing looked very good.
Nestor .... looked like he struggled to get up to speed with the game, if I were to give the benefit of the doubt.

Hello all, I was a neutral at your game at the weekend. I've written a report w/ pictures that you can view at the link below if anyone's interested. Had a really good day out: friendly locals, decent pint pre-match, pie and peas in the ground, cracking little ground, and quite an entertaining cup tie. Thanks for your hospitality and all the best in the next round vs. Bamber Bridge and for the remainder of the season. The pictures are superb - what's the camera? I think I walked past you on the way out ...... actually spotted myself and my brother in that shot of the stand from the end of the game which is a bit scarey.
Glad you had a good time, was a fun game with a good atmosphere.
[prepares hand grenade] You said Guiseley was a short train ride 'from' Leeds. In my world, Guiseley is a suburb of Leeds .... don't tell the locals that because they still believe otherwise after all these years. Pudsey and Garforth are equally separatist. But they are all colonies of the City. [ducks and puts fingers in ears]

I actually originally wrote in my report that Guiseley was a suburb of Leeds, only for the font of all knowledge Wikipedia to tell me that it was a town in the City of Leeds metropolitan borough! Who to believe... Thanks again anyway. Had a good time at the weekend, a complete world away from the rip-offs I endure most weeks following Everton in the top-flight.

Well I'm a Manyoo fan in the Prem so I know far too much about rip-offs. That Wikipedia entry sounds like it was written by a Guiseley resident - 'metropolitan borough of Leeds' is basically council rhetoric to appease the locals who didn't appreciate being annexed by the city. I look forward to reading more on your blog!
