Yes we in Guiseley try very hard to cling to our independence. We are the old borough of Aireborough had a Town Hall(now the theatre)and our own council until Leeds realised there were rich pickings to be had from our council tax,but I suppose we have to be careful as they now own our football ground.

I've been involved in am-dram at Guiseley hall, actually. Never realised it was a town hall. And no, I'm not a thesp, I'm a musician.

I used to be but now I'm a physicist. Music is too fun to spend all day hearing kids tell me how much they hate it.

What, music or physics?
Both are actually cool, the difference is that as long as people get good exam grades I don't mind as much whether they are desperately excited by physics. Music is something you have to be excited by to get a good grade at.
