Congratulations to Tranmere Rovers on their promotion to League 1. Always enjoyed our away trips to play them and made to feel welcome by their fans.
Loved watching them at Wembley last year winning promotion to League 2 , when they were down to ten men in the first minute. A gritty and talented team.
Will watch their and Lincoln’s progress with interest.

Terrible news with the passing of Justin Edinburgh after what was a great season for him and Leyton Orient.
Condolences to his family and friends on the sudden and sad news.

Terribly sad news to hear about Justin, even more harrowing to think it is under two months ago he lead his Leyton Orient team to the Vanarama National League title.

I was present at the National League dinner where it was announced very shortly after the league officials were informed.As you may have read,the presentation of the awards with which Leyton Orient and Justin Edinburgh were to receive did not take place as a mark of respect. The CEO of Leyton Orient was present and did say a few words. As you can imagine the room was rather subdued after receiving the news.
It is so sad. He had arrived at Orient and really turned it round.
Condolences to his family and friends.

I see Harrogate have splashed out on signing Jon Stead ex BCFC. Could be a good signing for them even though he's 36 now, but still was scoring goals at Notts County last season.

BPA have parted ways with their Ferguson, a chap called Damian Irvine who seems to play some kind of satirical version of a motivational life coach on Twitter. Too late for Bowser sadly but the fewer of these clowns we have in non league the better.
Actual quote from a recent video post on Twitter, on the subject of a five year plan for the club:
“The only question you should ask, the only target, shouldn’t be about where in the leagues we’re going to be, but..... are we IN?”

Looking at the BPA forum it’s no wonder they struggle to attract new supporters. The forum is full of aggression and squabbling.
