Danny and Nicky Cowley to Huddersfield Town! Haven’t they done well!! Honestly I’m rather shocked, I thought they’d have taken Lincoln all the way. |

I don't think there'll be any issues with loaning players (should Marcus & Russ want any), and whilst we didn't have Huddersfield in pre-season this summer, I wouldn't expect there to be any problems for HTFC coming to Nethermoor for a pre-season game in future.

I’m a bit surprised at this. After the way they treated him and Danny, and how badly it’s blown up in their faces, I wouldn’t have blamed Mark for telling them where to stick it. Now he’s to go in and clean up their mess.
Good luck to them both, they’re going to need it. Also, Jamie Spencer is absolutely not for sale.

I could’ve loaned Mark my barge pole if I’d known this was a possibility.
Best of luck to him but with the fans fighting amongst themselves and no squad to speak of, it’s a huge challenge and I don’t know if he has anything left to prove to them.

I understand the comments but I’m a little excited for B(PA) and Bowser. Good luck to both of them. Much better they remain in our league. Few of us will forget our trip to Horsfall this year. And the more short trips the better (for those of us who can’t get the “Mrs” or “Family” permission for longer.
As you can tell I have a soft spot for Bowser - best Manager I’ve witnessed as a GAFC fan (I accept I don’t have the history of all of youse) - and B(PA) who only last Boxing Day delivered the most complete of performances and then were wilfully internally destroyed.
So hope it works
And if they want Spencer it’s ££££ and your chips

It’s only that soft spot for Mark that makes me want him not to go back there - why go through all that again? - but if you were a fan of theirs you’d surely realise he’s the only man for the job. I hope he’s a huge success and they survive this year. They can absolutely do one if they want Jamie back though. 😬 |
