In reply to pitkin why have the mascot got the sack if they haven’t done anything wrong! Agree with you about the Burberry morons. Undecided on Cox yet let’s make judge him after the busy Christmas period. All in all had a good day out in Mansfield

Someone said- Bad Referees are like Buses you wait ages, not so they are always on time, and the timetable is constantly improving!!!

The Mascots were reported by several people for inciting our fans, when the 2nd and 3rd Goals were scored, apparently this has happened before. The Mansfield Stewards -who were excellent by the way, reported the Actions to the MTFC Safety Officer, may be just exuberance but ill considered at best, simply they should stay Away from the Away fans.

Strict, I would say but we didn't heed his early warnings. Our bad decision making, lunging into tackles and outright thuggery cost us not the referee.

Thought the football played when 11 v 11 was poor tbh. Guiseley played better with only 9 men !!!!. Ref got both sendng off correct imo. We clearly need more pace in final third if we are to create more chances. As for the seat throwing incident. I was stood next to the 'kids' who were responsible. These are nothing more than silly little boys trying to act like wannabe hooligans. They would all run a mile if someone actually challenged them. It is up to the club to sort it out. Pretty pathetic really and dangerous ground to be on when you start breaking seats. Pretty sure their parents would be ashamed as well as their school teachers. As for the mascot yeah its unnecessary but as an adult i dont let a dressed up stag bother me.

Agree with all that has been said really - just to add that if Mr Cox wants to " "change the culture" then I think his current way of playing is far from what our club wants - we have 3 or 4 players who I would say have some skill - mainly those who were here before he arrived - the rest are no more than good Sunday morning pub players - although he has added some height but thats all - cant see this type of play getting us out of relegation mire but hope I am wrong.

Of those who started, I thought Lenighan worked immensely hard, but arguably the 3 best performances were from Hurst, Purver and Lowe. Perhaps a message there? M'Bongou was incredibly off the pace and the red card was, I think, his 4th foul after the yellow. Holden had an afternoon to forget as, I suppose, we all did.

Well apparently the mascot has been sacked, but you are a precious bunch from up North. I thought you Yorkies were not supposed to get upset by the antics of something like a pillock in a microfibre suit. You like to shout Scab (which is hilarious and most doing the shouting weren't even born), but get upset by a mascot, and start running to the stewards lol. As for Cox, yes we are grateful for his part in getting us out of the conference, but he is a one trick pony and a busted flush, why he's brought Murray up there is baffling. Your overtly physical tactics were a disgrace, so any romance and goodwill was quickly diminished. Concentrate on staying in the league, looks like it will be a long winter for you. For you genuine Guiseley fans, good wishes, for the few Burberry morons lol, well you won't go again will you? First of all I'm glad the club took action over the mascot. His job is to entertain children, not wind up opposition fans. While I do not condone any act of hooliganism; people will only take so much winding up before they snap. Had it been a bigger or less friendly club you were playing he could have incited actual violence and endangered his own safety and that of other supporters. So I'm sorry, his sacking is justified, it's just a shame some of your awful stewards weren't sent out on the dole with him. They were an embarrassment from start to finish. We may be a little non league club but our match day staff are leagues above yours in class and professionalism. Secondly I agree with you regarding the idiots, especially the one who broke the chair. Absolute cretinous behaviour and nearly hit a child. Whoever it was can do one and never return quite frankly. I don't want our club associated with that type of supporter. As for the game itself, it was what it was, ref was shocking but ultimately we lost to the better side on the day as was expected. We had our fun and most of us left with a smile on our face for watching Guiseley make history in making the second round for the first time ever. Having said this, you only managed three goals against 9 non leaguers. We may go down or we may stay up and we'll carry on but You'll definitely not trouble the top three in League Two this season.

Firstly disappointing result, and performance. I’ve said before I will judge PC when he can pick a settled team, not likely when we are forever without people due to various misdemeanours. I do think there is an undercurrent of big time Charlie about some of his comments though, in a similar vein to Dave Penney, or am I being paranoid? Positives?Great day out, fantastic support, but a sore head and no voice this morning, so thanks to all concerned for getting us there. Some great “proper” pics on the George wood site also.

PC reportedly wants his teams to be 'nasty and horrible' and his players to 'bite and scratch'.
Referees, in the main, do not want that.
So far, the referees appear to be winning.

Very hypothetical now but Cardiff away wouldn’t have been on by January wish list!!
Let’s hope we can now concentrate on the league and get a result this Saturday and start moving up the ladder.

Agree with the overly physical approach. Discipline is down to the manager alone and our tactics 11 v 11 leave a lot to be desired. Hopefully we will scrape enough points but it will be close.

I am glad that Mansfield have an away tie against a team they won't beat in a place that's less than savoury. I was convinced they'd get Spurs away, because had we got through that's who I was rooting for.
