Or maybe he was watching the several players he has lent you ! we have just signed best keeper in non league dicko would be fourth choice at best. I think it really encouraging that so many geriatrics have computer access R You still here? Thought I suggested you SOD OFF back to the Fartley forum where you can play with yourself !! Geriatrics indeed, humph!!

steve dickinson is the best keeper in non league by a mile, theres no point in trying to replace him with somebody with no experiene or half the quality!

dicko is an excellent keeper and has been for 10 years or so. would have thought he had many good years left in him as keepers tend to get better the more they learn about the game and the experience they gain. seen skiba play and im afraid he doesnt match up to dicko. time will tell!

What is going on at this club, the new management seem to think we are all stupid. We had all the farce of Krief denying that he was going to Farsley when in fact it was all cut and dried, now we have a statement saying that Dicko is still going to be No 1 at Guiseley when in fact he has already been replaced for tomorrows game at Lincoln by this new lad. Sorry Mr Kittrick but we are not used to being taken for idiots here at Guiseley, we have some of the most loyal supporters in the league at Guiseley and they deserve better than this. Dicko still has a few good years in him as a top keeper, no way will he want to sit it out at Guiseley so it will be all our loss. I was always told if it aint broken don't fix it, we did not need to replace the keeper. And in future can we be told the truth and not a load of Bull.

I agree bigj but the trouble is outfield positions need strengthening first. SK has brought in one or two half decent signings but not all are quality or have top potential or even fit. Also players who canot be control themselves and stay on the field of play, no matter how good, are of any value to team mates or GAFC. SK has not had the decency to explore. Skiba is a decent keeper and does have pro league experience in Poland but he lets goals in too, and some softies like Diclo occasionally does as an imperfect human being. For me this signing was not a prority (with loan signings always possible and exploring reserve keeper usage) but with the deal done it brings a different type of keeper into the equation.

What is the manager thinking.I would have thougt the goalkeeping position was the least of our worries and to try to soften the blow to Dicko by offering him a coaching position is 2/3 years too soon. As one of the best keepers in the league he deserves better form a club he is totally commited to.
