Typical of some morons. Even if they were found, charged, taken to court the most they would get is a mild slap, sympathised with, given a packet of sweets and sent home with extra benefits.
Looking at the photos I would say it’s a write-off and an H&S hazard and therefore an opportunity to knock it down and rebuild, I hope it is insured!

Really sorry to hear the news about the stand been damaged, and hope that it does not affect your season. In terms of stopping kids drinking in your ground, what happened to the idea of CCTV? Or why not build a higher wall, with anti-vandel,anti climb paint on it after 6 ft with some nice razor wire on top. I know it would cost a bit to build but am sure the cost would be less that having to re build your stand ever year.

Richard,of course we are all spitting blood about this and it makes you wonder if this mob were also responsible for the destruction of the Guide Hut last year. If the police have spoken to themregarding drinking maybe they do have some idea. To the best of my knowledge it is still on the statute of this country that you can get life in prison for arson it is not regarded as just some prank.

Problem is you may be infringing some little gits human rights if he/she hurts themselves breaking in  I understand that the little bastards tried to burn the covers at the cricket club as well a few days before. I understand that as per most things connected with GAFC both the professionals and our backroom boys have as usual been heroic in ensuring that the game on Saturday will go ahead (maybe baring our old chestnut waterlogged) and the best way we can show our appreciation of this is backsides through the turnstile.

???Looks like the comfortable shoes will be needed Saturday if everyone is standing surely the stand will be closed for health and safety? anyone any news?  |

adam dont sit on a stand try a seat.
if your insured by the same company as BCFC they had one stand burn down and managed to get a 30,000 all seat stadium as a replacement. your rickity old stand will become a new super dooper new one with new seats and such. Clouds and silver lining spring to mind these little gits may have done you a big favour after all you wont need ground improvements if you get promoted.
