Guiseley started brightly for the first 5 minutes of the match, but from a Guiseley perspective, that was about as good as it got.
Final result: 0-0.
And Guiseley were lucky to get nil.

We were indeed lucky to draw that scrappy uninspired game. I thought there was certainly no lack of endeavour in the team but to my mind there were tired bodies, legs and heads out there tonight against a more physical team which we mostly found hard to deal with. Cam Mason man of the match absolutely.

We were short of ideas and creativity upfront without Cassidy and Whitham. Thought we rode our luck defensively too. A very poor standard game all round from both teams.

I think you’re right, two intense games against Matlock and Warrington Town seemed to have taken there toll. Bench was very light with 5 injured first teamers watching from the sidelines.
I am sure management weren’t impressed but they gave it there all. Maybe need a few new bodies in as we are a little threadbare at present with the run in.
It was a missed opportunity but there’ll be more bumps in road before the season finishes for all the teams in and around the playoffs.

Coud have had a couple first half with some steadier finishing, second half was crying out for somebody to take control of the midfield as we resorted to type by hoofing it down the middle to no one in particular. Having said that Lancaster manager Mark Fell must be livid that they didn't score at least four from the chances they had and handed us a share of the points.

One to forget at least we didn’t lose how I don’t know. Couple of good stops by Lancaster keeper early on and a good chance for Haw in the second half but that was it for Guiseley. Lancaster must have had a dozen chances poor finishing good defending and an excellent keeper. on to Saturday hope we get some players back. Onwards and upwards.

Key players missing but exposed the lack of depth in the squad.
Very lucky to get a point against a purposeful Lancaster who belied their league position.
Hopefully the timely wake up call needed and it sounds like one or two players have played their last game listening to Paul Phillips after the game.

Mixed feelings about last night. Patched up team, and rode our luck massively. Never looked remotely threatening going forward despite Kallan taking a massive amount of punishment trying to win the ball. BUT we didn’t lose, and kept a fourth successive clean sheet. (Here’s hoping the rest has done George, Lewis et al a bit of good and they’re ready for Saturday) We’d have lost that game in previous years. Heck we’d have lost that game earlier this season. The very fact we didn’t is cause for hope.

Really not good to watch, one of our worst performances this season and we really missed George and Lewis. Kallan looked absolutely worn out by the end. Very lucky to get a draw. Lancaster had so many missed opportunities … the gods must have been on our side!!

After such a wretched performance and a wasted opportunity to get into the play-off places, it is tempting to think our play-off push is over. It's certainly the worst post match feeling I've had since Liversedge. We need a massive reaction on Saturday to rekindle our hopes.

I've seen better pub games, but they kept fighting and didn't lose. A game against a bottom half side is a good opportunity to make a few changes (though some were obviously enforced) but Lancaster had too much about them to be able to get away with it and we didn't have enough to overcome them.
We can't afford too many of those, but after 2 really solid away performances and with another tough challenge on Saturday I think it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

No need to sugarcoat any of it. Absolutely dire yesterday night. So open at the back and created little chances. Completely rely on whitham and without him we aren’t half the side. Need at least 1-2 more singings upfront if we are going to finish in the play off spots. The atmosphere was dreadful last night but absolutely nothing to cheer about. Go again Saturday in what simply is a must win game.

Just listened to PP's after match interview & at least he is honest regarding the performance. Not good enough and, yes players missing, but others have to step up, but it just didn't happen. Manager said he changed it around at half time but I think we were worse overall. Far too much hoof ball against a team that coped easily with the majority of that. Shudder to think what the score could have been if Lancaster could finish.
Need to improve against Radcliffe as they aren't going to miss half a dozen decent chances.
At least its another clean sheet & another point.
